Good Day!
lol, i had to say that, it was just too good to miss!
This morning I woke up and realized that the sunburn I got at graduation yesterday was worse than I origionally though... i look like a lobster! I threw on some clothes and got to church halfway through the service so instead of going in the sanctuary and embaressing myself, I hung out with Kristin, my buddy since age three or something ridiculous like that (actually, it was probably more like age eight, since she didn't move here until second grade).
I came home and got online and instead of coming straight here, I thought I would actually do something with my day. My CD wishlist is now a whopping 22 pages and I spent probably an hour on sodahead.com chatting about politics and trying to keep a very fragile peace. It's really hard to get grown-ups to act like grown-ups when they're fighting about politics/race/religion/gender/etc... sad, huh?
then I came here. There's really not much to say yet about Father's Day stuff, since Dad's been at work since before I got up and will be for another three hours or so... then we'll eat i think. or maybe we'll just give him a card... i don't remember.

Almost done...
Today has been a VERY LONG DAY!!! I thought that once the seniors were gone, my work would be basically done... but i was very wrong.
I spent two hours of band just organizing and refiling music. ick ick ick. It wasn't so bad, I guess. I actually will really miss being band librarian next year. It's a lot of responsibility and hard work, but I love it so much. I hope Louie and Raelynn do a good job, because it's hard work that keeps the band running and they should be proud to hold such an integral piece of the band on their belts.
In Spanish, our audio book was played for the class and while the graphic content caused a bit of a stir. Overall, it made a fairly good impression, because Hank was still talking about it later in the day.
Princehouse had me grade tests for the frosh. I have a feeling a few of them are going to fail. The grades on the objective part were very ugly, and that's the easy part...
Lunch was good, kinda weird with everybody signing out of lockers and stuff all around us. Cassandra got her prom picks and gave me a few.... Her dress was beautiful and she looked so beautiful and her hair was beautiful. Daniel didn't look to shabby either. Oh, Daniel passed his Presentation and he's gonna walk saturday!!!! Too bad Cassandra has to work and can't be there...
History was interesting. I'm an idiot, i basically read the number on my book upside down. instead of 01085, I said 28010.... everyone laughed at me... it was so embarressing... Matt looked right at me. I felt terrible like I never have in a history class before... oh, that and i saw more of dan jodrey than I EVER wanted to... Chris pantsed him and lets just say nothign was hiding, but thank the stars that Kloke was still in the hall checking lockers... that would have been interesting, to say the VERY least...
In physics, we started planning tomorrow's party, which we thought of today, and we played some hardcore hangman... I teamed up w/ Laura W against John Hooper and John T... we won, four to two. It rocked.
So for the thing tomorrow, I'm bringing two boxes of donuts and a bag of chips and laura's bringing soda and maybe some root beer... it's gonna be a blast, so stay tuned!!!!
I went to youth group tonite and you would not BELIEVE how annoying the people who aren't all that into God can be when you're trying to worship. Seriously, the kids behind me were making fun of worship the whole time and I was trying to focus on God and they were just being silly and not taking it seriously and I just felt terrible that they couldn't experience Him in the greatest way.

On the year's end, kind of.
Today nothing exciting happened to me. Well, then you have to define "exciting" -- in short, anything significant enough to make a notable blog post about.
Screw that!!
Well, school is winding down. I think our teachers are as weary as we are. I'm sure they can't wait to bust out of there, just like us. It doesn't feel like summer here, however. (Blame the overcast skies, wintery temperatures, and the rain.) But, according to the calendar, we have 1.5 days of school left, and you can bet we've had a sudden dropoff in actual work.
For want of activity, I picked up a rather old obligation I wasn't able to get to earlier: building another website. This one's for a guild in a game I kind of used to play...a complicated story, but anyways. It's been long enough since my last website that I had to refresh some parts of my memory concerning HTML and CSS, but, in spite of that, it looks good. Blame my admittedly awesome colour scheme, a product of what I like to think was a sudden epiphany on my part. The guild's name, Raven, is the fault of my guild leader (whose birthday is incidentally today).
I haven't been ignoring Jill's regime, though. All that's left is finishing the colouring on the flag...
I've taken to signing yearbooks upside-down. I haven't really gotten comments on this as of yet...but I still have a lot more signing to do. My classmates wrote lots of nice stuff in mine, but for some of them I could only scrounge up some joking comments on their slacker habits or something like that. Is that bad, or just sad?
In closing, I would like to note that if your surname is Gray, it's probably better to name your next male child Dorian (in my opinion) rather than Earl.

Band Softball and Goodbyes
Today, I gave away senior gifts and said my last goodbyes to some of the people I've known most of my life. I've known Andrew longer than my brothers and he's leaving. This is the hardest part of this time of year.
Band was a whirl of yearbook signings and checkout. I got to check out the seniors today, and I charged Albert $7.50... my first fine! I was so proud! There was a little graduation music practice, but I've got those down pretty well so it was mostly check-off and filing.
Spanish had a final today, and I actually felt like I did pretty well. I really picked my grade up after that slump earlier. I hope I was able to pull and A to counter that C+ in physics...
I had Bethany sign my yearbook. I can't believe she's going to Middle School next year! It seems like yesterday she was in fourth grade and struggling with her math. Now she's a confident (almost) teen who is going to have a dad in the home again, now that her mom is getting remarried!
Mrs. Princehouse had me clean up the lab equiptment and finish some check-out info. Mostly keys. They're only two dollars a pop, but she must just get wads of cash from the keys that go missing every year.
My history class hasn't had that sad moment yet, because there are no seniors. I finished my essay test in seven minutes and Matt worked almost right up to the bell... I win again!
I got a B on my Physics final... not as great as I hoped for, but I'll take it. When tomorrow comes, there will be six kids in that class, so Mr. Powell let us all say our goodbyes and I swear I thought I was goign to cry all over Harrison's yearbook as I was signing it. I hate goodbyes.
Then was the band softball game. Andy's team won, so I cheered like crazy, and the other spectator was Louies girlfriend, Briana.... she's so like me it's scary!!! we had a long talk and she signed my yearbook and we became instant friends. I can't believe everything is changing again! I was barely used to last years seniors being gone, and now this years are leaving!!!!
